LYCOMING COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA RLBA supported a Lycoming County Pennsylvania intermodal terminal feasibility study. Specifically, RLBA: 1)compiled and documented information on rail/truck intermodal operations and facilities which would affect the proposed Lycoming County terminal; 2)held discussions with local short line and regional carriers as well as Class I railroad companies and terminal operators to identify and discuss innovative intermodal concepts; 3)performed due diligence on market analysis findings; 4)developed criteria by which to assess functional aspects to be provided at the transfer center and gain familiarity with SEDA-COG railroads potentially involved to determine the best methods of railroad access, car switching and storage and 5)formulated a business plan.
