RLBA was part of a project team selected to undertake all the tasks necessary to establish an intermodal system in Presque Isle, Maine from feasibility and planning through design, permitting and construction oversight. RLBA was responsible for determining the potential domestic market for such a service, analysis of alternative intermodal technologies and recommendation of those most appropriate to the needs of the subject service, estimation of intermodal terminal operating costs and development of truck-competitive intermodal routings and service patterns.
