RLBA was asked by Southeast Pennsylvania Transit Authority (SEPTA) to perform a physical inspection of selected commuter passenger coaches and rail locomotives so as to determine their current fair market value. The equipment appraised included ten, Bombardier, commuter rail cab cars, 35 trailer cars, seven EMD AEM-7 electric passenger locomotives and one ABB ALP-44 electric passenger locomotive. The valuation was initiated in connection with a potential future sale. RLBA summarized its findings in a report submitted to SEPTA.
